Nor I. The reinforcement on the back of the blade may be 1/8"
thick but no way will the teeth be that thick.

Try measuring it with a caliper, I bet the kerf isn't even
1/8" thick.



I pulled down my Stanley 358-A, which has a blade exposure of 5" from
tooth to back, and a length measured along the teeth of 25-1/2".

The body of the blade is about 3/64" and the kerf is about 1/16".

The back is 1/4" thick.
