Why didn't somebody say, put those busses to work? Break in and
commandeer them, apppoint drivers, give each one a map and say,
pick up a busload and just *drive*.

The real trouble here isn't the hurricane. It's the apparent
lack of iniative and leadership on a grand scale that surpises
me. Nobody took charge. It's become a grand Cluster **** of
the highest order.
