If they are 25mm shorter, they won't really fit reliably and will fall

I would guess that the panels are 6ft, that is 1828mm.
The boards are probably 1800mm.

This is what happens when people mix feet (305 mm) with metric feet (300
mm).

If the boards fall out of the groves then new boards are needed (if you can
get 6 foot ones) or
run a saw down the panels and take a bit off each side and put the posts
closer together.

If they don't fall out of the groves then cement them in and forget it.
