Take another look. Could the second one be a 2N961A? I don't think
the
JEDEC numbers were that high in the early 70s.

My old '69 Motorola Manual stops at the 2N5500 point. The 2N5809 might
be a valid number for that time period. But it's not in the Moto
manual. :-(
