Hi,

A copy, that may help:

**Turn off the water supply faucets and disconnect the hoses. Allow the
water to drain from both hoses.
Add one gallon of non-toxic RV antifreeze (available from hardware or
recreational vehicle stores) to the washer tub.
Push the cycle selector knob in and turn it to the right to SPIN.
Pull the knob out and allow the washer to spin for one to two minutes
so all the water will drain out. Some of the RV antifreeze will also be
expelled. (If you have a septic system, please contact the antifreeze
manufacturer to verify it will not harm the system.)
Push the cycle selector knob in to stop the washer. Dry the inner wash
tub, disconnect the electrical plug and close the lid. If the washer is
to be moved, disconnect the drain hose. The washer must be moved and
stored in an upright position.

To remove the antifreeze after storage, run the washer through a
complete cycle using 1/2 cup of detergent. DO NOT ADD CLOTHES.**

This is from Amana/Maytag.
