thanks to all. basically i found it was not 'taboo' to cement a post
with water present. i mixed it dry(er), poured it in (how else do you
get it to the bottom of a 3 foot post hole?) and the water rose then
seeped back out. i'll let all know if it was a boom or bust. again, i
appreciate all the suggestions.
