I have an old hitach 578EM multi system VCR, manfactured in 1990.
Recently, it eat tapes.
The following is what i see:
When i press play, the tape moves but only the left wheel of the tape,
the right wheel does not move at all. The vcr works fine in fast
reverse and forward.

Anyone have experience with this old machine?
