Pay a neighbor kid 5 bucks... am I misunderstanding this, or could you
do this if you were a decent swimmer who could hold your breath for a
30 seconds or so to screw it back on..

In all seriosness.. make sure you put it back as I have read of
accidents where the suction in pool drains that are not properly
covered can actual hold a person underwater...
