Default Sourcing ferrite cores for HV transformers.

Greetings.
I am building 2KV power supplies for which I need Qty 6 UU cores the
type used in HT generators for CRTs. I have had no luck finding them in
catalogs of local distributors. I am in Ireland so a European and
preferably UK supplier is what I need.

Ferrites in general are easy enough to get. My difficulty is finding UU
cores specially designed for HT transformers. Listings of UU cores I
have found seem to be rectangular cross section whereas those intended
for HT have round section to facilitate the construction of the HT
winding. I suspect these there is very limited demand for these items
outside China or whereever our TVs are made these days. As a possible
alternative approach does anyone know a manufacturer building high
voltage equipment? I could beg some!

The size is aproximately 33 mm inside; 55 mm outside giving a diameter
of ~12mm for each of the two core "legs".

I don't know the exact ferrite type except they are to make a 2KV step
up transformer. I succesfully used cores from old TVs before, but the
modern ones are all potted so I can't use them.

I would be very grateful if somebody could point me to a supplier.
