There is a sponge available which has a hard coarse surface on one side and
an ordinary soft sponge on the other.
The hard side is for removing flies off the windscreen, I have found it
invaluable when after batting down the french motorways for a couple of
hours, a splash of water and an application of the sponge works wonders.
