Most people don't have a true buyer's agent, but rather, a selling agent
who's paid half the commission, and so technically works for the listing
agent...who works for...wait for it...the seller! IMHO, most of the
agent & indeed most of the realty business is geared to help the seller
and thus, an in imperfect world, potentially screw the buyer.

Just my two (jaded) cents.
