Bill N:

As one who made his living writing code for many years, I won't comment
on your programming style.

But, you forgot some things...

Since Stubbys laugh at 100 lb + blanks, one needs to find a source of
these things. Then one needs to find a way to get them on the machine
without a trip (or another trip) to the doctor or chiropractor. Then,
one needs to find someone with the room to store those 30" salad bowls
and enough friends to eat what they can hold.

It never ends...

unfortunately your gloat will not compile unless you include the mandatory
gload header, wherein you declare all the variables (like wife's jewelry,
children's college fund, etc that are held hostage to the deamon of
turning), and also include the required parameter files, such as:
{
//include expensive chuck (vicmark)
//include 220_VAC (new, $$)
//DECLARE tool_array (1,1024)
//include tool_array
//include back_surgery ($$,$$,$$) ** never unload a stubby all alone
}
and you have to initialize the various arrays
{
begin
while $_in_accound 0 do
peruse (catalog(i))
tool_array(i)=tool.buy (catalog(i))
end
}

only after that, are you ready to discover that the bigger tool requires a
blood sacrifice -- BEWARE.

and, enjoy the 1000, it's a great lathe. I know this because I have one.
