I don't have a view as it's not a subject I spend anytime
thinking about. I do spend a lot of time thinking about how
CAD/CAM systems should work and why they often don't work.

really stupid **** at times... the Connie stuff was totally
bogus. Did "The Virus" influence your post on Connie, John ?

I don't have any problem with that. I probably don't have
any problem with an opposing view on Gay marriage either. I
do have a problem when someone tells me SolidWorks,
SolidEdge, Inventor, etc. are good tools... How can they be
if they don't play well with imported geometry and treat it
like a second class citizen or an illegal alien that doesn't
belong.

In general my perception that most machinists don't like
people that are Gay. Perhaps you should also get Bing to
post his thoughts as he has spent a lot of time on this
issue. As I said, I don't spend anytime thinking about it as
I just don't have the interest.
Maybe when CAD/CAM vendors start getting the message that
parametrics are cool but there has to be a way to deal with
imported geometry other than treating it like an illegal
alien and instead enable direct editing of any and all
imported geometry then I will find the time to care about
what I know is an important issue to both you in Gunner.
In the mean time why not resist any and all personal attacks
and refuse to drop to the level of "The Virus".
You should have learned much more from my experience of
dropping to that level and how much time I wasted until
Bottlebob finally woke me up.
I won't hold my breath waiting for an apology on your Connie
post... I'll just have to get over it. Obviously I'm not
doing a good enough job on getting over it or I would not
