At lunch I went to my dad's to try to take a pto off his old bushhog so

everything I could think off and it would not budge. Is there a trick
or soemthing I missed?

If it is a bolt that holds the implement unuversal joint to the pto, it
could be bent. You would have to beat it out, supporting everything so
you don't bend the pto shaft. No fun. That's why most farmers use a
spring loaded plunger that locks in a groove in the perimeter of the pto
shaft.

OTOH, if it is the pin holding the overdrive ratchet to the tractor's
pto, you cannot even see the (roll) pin without removing a plug or zerk
fitting, and you have to remove BOTH to drive the roll pin out when it
is aligned with the zerk holes.

I dont think the shaft on the tiller has a place for a bolt to go
through. Does it mean it is not compatable with this pto shaft?
