Well, I paid $750 for my 24" cincinnati (and haven't actually regretted it),
so maybe OP will find a sucker like me.
Could have just been the wrong three weeks, too, you never know.

Some years ago there was a place offering a 24" Cincinnati shaper in
Seattle's industrial district. Free. In excellent shape, with tooling.
Free. They ran an ad in the Seattle Times, maybe $25/week, for about
3 months. No takers.
Good luck getting $800.
It's a whole lot easier to get rid of smaller shapers.
