You are pre-supposing that these cats can read....

Though that does trigger a memory. When I was a kid, we had two cats. One
day, I came home after playing with a friend's dog and of course, the cats
were sniffing me up and down. Just for a hoot, I barked (yes, like a dog)
and the cats got very alert. Perhaps some doggie's old blanket and a tape
recording of a dog barking.....


Though I do like the sign idea....
