since 5x1 aint a standard, perhaps it is a 10-24
..041 pitch vs .039

5 x .8 is very nearly 10-32 is what makes me think of it

I bought a hole saw from Harbor Freight (yes, I know) and I chewed up
the set screw. I'm pretty sure it's a M5 x 1.0. Any kind of screw

that I can crank it down hard. But I can't find this screw

in any configuration. I've looked at lowes, home depot, grainger,
mcmaster and fastenal with no luck.

Yes, that's M5 diameter x 1.0mm pitch. Thanks, but M5 x 0.8mm (which
I can find everywhere) doesnt fit.
