Pickett's were metal. I carried a 6" Pickett in my pocket for years.
Is this 6' wonder made of metal?

I always preferred the "action" of bamboo (Post Versalog) at my desk,
but that little metal Pickett was rugged.

We were poor. All I could afford back then were plastic slide rules.
