Default I need help finding a part to repair a PLaystation 2 game console.

I recently purchased a non functional PS2 game system and only one bad
part is preventing it from functioning. I can get it to work with a
rigged up replacement but cant re-assemble until I replace the part.

What I am looking for and have been having trouble finding is best
described as a SMT ZIF FPC "Flip Lock" right angle style cable
connector. It has 7 contacts out the back and internally they are on
the bottom. It is used in the PS2 to connect the power and reset
switches to the mainboard. This part is the same across all version of
PS2 as far as I know (I have seen 5 out of the 12).

SONY informs me that no one but them is allowed to repair PS2 consoles
and they will not talk to me in any way about obtaining parts. This
seems stupid as the console had it factory coverage expire years ago.

All my searches seem to turn up only connectors made by OMRON who make
a nice connector but not one that is the same and I am wary of using a
different style connector since the cable is not reinforced for low
insertion force and I'm not sure how well other designs would attach to
the board (correct solder points). However one of OMRONS pdf files
explaining the reasons their product is better shows the type I am
trying to replace.

I could find no clear manufacturer marking and would appreciate any
help in finding the correct part to solve my problem. I tried mouser
and digikey and the closest I can find (without a photo for comparison)
is an FH10A-7S-1SH but I don't see it available in North America.

I can photograph the broken part and an example of an intact part if
that would help.
