You clipped this at a key point. I wrote that you should
ask these people for advice on finding an engineer. It
would be the engineer that actually did the analysis.
I find that realtors are often plugged into the building
and remodeling scene since many of them own investment
real estate and work work with people who remodel as
part of a home sale.
