I need to replace the caulk that is around my shower door. (yukky mold

under
it)

How do I do this without damaging the fiberglass shower or aluminum on

door?

Thanks, Bonnie

Start with a sharp razor knife. Slice under the caulk where ever possible.
Then pull it off.
If there is any left try using old piece of cloth and rubbing it back and
forth to remove the rest. If that fails there is always solvents. But these
should only be used in WELL ventilated areas. Even with that I use a full
face mask and gloves with the appropriate filters. Acetone for an example.

Make sure that you remove the cause of the mold. Full strength bleach may do
the trick.
Removal may take time and several applications of bleach may be needed as
well.

When dry and ready cut the tube of caulk off at a 45 degree angle.
Approximately the distance across that you want the bead to be. Practice
some where so that you get the hang of it. Then with a damp rag close by.
Start caulking. When done use your finger to finish the application and wipe
the walls with the damp rag.
