Hi All,

I have a 5-1-1 programmable thermostat, but it's driving me crazy.

I think it might be too sensitive. For example. If it is set for 21
degrees and the temperature drops to 20.9 to furnace cuts on. I have cast
iron rads (oil/hot water) so anyways the temperature drops to 20.9 and the
furnace cuts on and stays on until it reaches 21 degrees. This only takes
like 40 seconds or so. The 30-40 seconds later the temperature drops by .1
back to 20.9 then the furnace cuts on and so on and so on and so on.

Is the thermostat (Noma) too sensitive? I mena the furnacing cutting on and
off every 40 seconds is driving me crazy. You know the noise of the furnace
and all. To me it's just burning oil. The house is warm and could use a
drop or 2 before it kicks back on but every .1 drop in the temperatre is a
little mush.

This is my first time having a programmable thermostat. Is this normal. The
furnace is a Veismann and has been serviced recently and is actually only 3
years old.

Any advice or comments?
