Thanks. The room is semi open plan joining the lounge. Do I just size the
room as if it was self contained and take into account windows, etc?

Assuming the adjoining room has been calculated in the same way yes.
If the room through the other half has a woefully underspecced rad
then it might be worth changing that one too.
