Maybe but what else was there for us to use back then? One of the few
childhood tasks I can remember in the 50s was creosoting the fence (and
the stink). I don't think I have used it since.
I am not dead yet...
Nobody said it was fatal. Just nausious (sp?)
Nevertheless the nanny state has now banned its use.
