Default DAYTEK/DAEWOO 1721D Monitor.

Following an extensive Google search; trying to find a circuit diagram on
line.
Monitor appears in perfect condition; no components smoked etc. No apparent
damage.

The unit is 'dead', CRT does not light etc. Expected to find something
straightforward such as blown AC fuse (and if blown, why?) burnt up
resistor, maybe a rectifier with obvious damage etc.

But AC input fuse, on/off switch are all OK; seemingly OK right up to the
input of the power supply section of the main circuit board where the next
component appears to be rectifier bridge

Another question; the monitor has the typical HD? 15 pin input cable. Is a
condition needed on any of the leads in that input cable in order to signal
the monitor and therefore enable it to 'come on'?

If this is not the place to ask my apologies and direction to a suitable
news group would be most appreciated.

Terry.
