Just re-done my shower tray and as well as using yea olde masking tape
method I used a Plasplugs £2 silicone sealant scraper from B&Q. Note you
push it along scooping up the execess sealant as it goes. Best silicone I
have done years.


I realised only yesterday that according to the packaging on the backof
my screwfix sourced silicon that you are meant to push the silicon gun
away from you when applying it... not pull it towards you like i do!! I
dare say that it wouldnt make too much of a difference if you are
masking / fingering it afterwards.
