belt and still would not spin without help?could it just be another bad
capacitor?there is 110 volts going to the capacitor.is there an easy way
to check capacitor?and what is the MFD readings stand for? thanks mike




The capacitor value is not critical, your new one is perfectly acceptable.
The microfarad rating is the capacitance, though motor start caps are by no
means precision devices. Obviously the capacitor isn't the problem here,
it's probably the starting switch or some wiring to or around the motor. You
may be best off having an appliance tech look at it, you've already thrown
away money replacing two perfectly good capacitors, there's no sense in
continuing to throw money at it unless you do some troubleshooting and are
able to determine the problem.
