You may have to turn off the vcr. Try making sure the tv and the vcr
are on the same channel setting as the back of the RF modulator. Let
me know if it is working.

Your image is going fuzzy because either the tv is not set to the right
channel, or the vcr is on and not set to the right channel. Let us know
if your still having trouble.

I once had 2 VCRs, and a TV without A/V inputs, so I put the A/V from the
one VCR (actually only a player) into the A/V of the second VCR, and was
moderately surprised to see that that video (aux) came through the 2nd
VCR's RF modulator just fine.

So, keep the VCR connected to the TV just the way it was, and put the A/V
from the DVD into the A/V (maybe called aux) input of the VCR, and if
you're lucky, that should do it.

i.e. one new connection: (well, two, audio and video) DVD to VCR A/V in.

If _that_ doesn't work, then put the RF modulator on the DVD, and put the
RF modulator's output to the RF input of the VCR. In that case, the VCR
should be off to pass the signal through. And if you turn on the VCR,
you'll be able to tune in the DVD on 3 or 4.

Good Luck!
