Nice article - until I read this:

That's perfectly correct, as I understand it. The Efficiency of a
heating system is presumably (Heat Captured)/(Input Energy). Since a
heat pump can move more than 1 KWh of heat using 1 KWh of electricity,
it will have an efficiency of over 100%.
