Default Jointing kitchen worktops

My new kitchen worktops arrive tomorrow with the butt and scribe joints
already cut.

Should I use waterproof ResinW between the pieces (they are standard 40mm
Formica laminate) or is there a special product for this to get a better
joint or colour match ?

B&Q sell stuff called "colourfill" which seems to be coloured car body
filler, or something like it. You can match the colour reasonably well
to most worktops & it waterproofs the joint as well as filling any small
imperfections.
