Hey There! -

Thought I would lend a little help for you on your dvd hookup. By the way.... congradulations on your dvd purchase! Your going to love it. You have the RF modulator... thats good. And you should already have everything else you need. Here is how you need to hook-up.
Connect the cable (coax) coming from the wall to the VCR IN, connect another coax cable from the VCR OUT to the IN on the RF modulator. Connect another coax cable from the RF Modulator out to the in on the TV. The RF modulator will have a switch on it for channel 3 or 4, make sure you know which channel it is set to so you can find it later when we turn it all on. Next just connect the red white and yellow cables from the dvd player to the RF Modulator. Plug the RF Modulator in and your ready to go. Now the RF Modulator will automatically turn on when it senses a signal from your DVD player. Until then the cable and VCR will come through like they should.

Next, make sure the TV, VCR, and DVD player are all turned off. Turn on the TV, your cable should be comming through. Then put the tv on channel 3 or 4 whichever channel your vcr usually comes through on. Try the vcr, turn it on, put a tape in, something, just to make sure its working. After that all you have to do is try the dvd player. And all that requires is putting the tv on the channel from the back of the RF Modulator, that will be channel 3 or 4 just like your vcr. Then just turn on the DVD Player and try it out. After youve watched your DVD just turn off the DVD player and the tv will automatically come back on!

This should clear up the installation for you.
