chuck body, unless you also have tailstock support, or cutting pressure can
walk the piece out of the chuck jaws.


Especially a sherline 3 jaw. The lack of pinion gears means there really
isn't much friction and I have found interrupted cuts will loosen
the chuck quickly. I really prefer a 4 jaw in the sherline.
