While I am the first to warn people about the dangers of Grevillea Robusta
to those people who can work with it the rewards are worth it.

To any prudent woodworker the precautions taken working Grevillea Robusta
SHOULD be no more than those taken for any wood, (It just seems that the
reactions to Grevillea Robusta are a lot more dramatic and sudden than with
many just as dangerous woods)

For instance asking for advice on working with

1) "White Cypress Pine or Brush Cypress Pine" (Callitris Macleayana) would
not bring about nearly as many negative comments BUT a word of caution this
wood and dust "Causes dermatitis, swelling of eyelids, asthma, irritation of
the nose and throat, ( and wait for it the big one) NASAL CANCER.

2) "Mulga" (Acacia aneura) (and most other Acacias) contains a Virulent
POISONOUS principle, used for spearheads by aboriginals. The dust may cause
irritation to mucous membranes, headaches, vomiting.

STEFANEE STIEN asked for advice on turning Black Wattle yet they recieved no
such warning that Acacias can be TOXIC untill now.
