Apologies if this has been explained before,
but what exactly constitutes "house wiring"?
(I'm not affected by the law, but am interested in its ramifications.)

Suppose I add a spur to a power socket?
Or replace a ceiling rose?
Do these count?
Or is it just a major rewiring, involving new ring circuits?
