What about the already glued cabinet? any chance I can return it? What
could (or should) I say to convince them to take it as well?

Exactly the way you outlined it here. Factually, fairly, without
anger or blame. The cabinets are substandard. I'd guess Rona will
take them back without question as long as you have the receipts.
