Pass, I don't read the neuroscience literature like I once did. The
definitive database for human genetic disease is
http://www3.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/omim/ if you ever want to look stuff up.
It is at least partly designed to inform the layman. if the gene has
been cloned there will be a reference which will give the date.
