I have some ceramic disc capacitors with 104 Z on them (the 104 is
underlined), and they are about 7/16" diameter. Can someone please tell me
the value so I can buy replacements?

Thank you,

We 104 = 1 0 0000 (4 zeros) or 100,000pF
We Value in nF= 100,000 / 1,000 = 100nF
We Value in uF = 100,000 / 1,000,000 = 0.1uF

We Z would be tolerance but my table doesn't cover that letter only up to
We K (+/-10%)

We Wes.

Tolerance is given by letter codes:
F = +/- 1%
G = 2%
H = 3%
J = 5%
K = 10%
M = 20%
Z = +80, -20%

A*s*i*m*o*v

.... Wasted power is current squared times the resistance.
