Bob, I wonder if a ribbed belt wears more than a V belt as Stubbs used?
A simple clutch method for the Jet mini is to use the built in belt
adjust lever with a dowel to prevent the loosened belt moving backward
and tightening at the front.

Contrary to other's experience, I find that its large range makes the VS
on my Jet mini a worthwhile convenience, although not necessary.
