The battery voltage is 45.3 volts, supposed to be 48.
Would this be low enough to cause the no-run condition??
From the user manual it says the unit will function, and charge them, possibly
with an alarm code of lo bat volts. Seems it should do -something- like
show an alarm LED instead of just sit there.

I can charge them and try again.

As for service information and parts, the manufacture will not support non
authorized servicers. They will tell you to send them the unit for proper
service.

I have an older Best 3 kva Ferrups that isn't working, and wonder if
anybody here has experience trouble shooting them? I get no alarm LED,
but it won't self test and go -ready-. If anyone might have a schmatic
or service manual, that would be great. It's a model FER4.

thanks
