Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding.

There is no point in doing so. The 1mm or 1.5mm cable used will have such
low voltage drop and such high current capability that it will just
complicate matters, particularly when it comes to testing. However, there is
nothing in the regulations preventing you using this circuit configuration
should you wish.
