Unlike some of the other responses you rec'd, I understand what it is
you want - but when the outlet is in use, its not intended to be
covered. And an outlet cover ids not intended for what you propose.

Your furniture should not be positioned so anybody could easily trip
on the exposed open cover. If they could trip on the cover, they
could also hook their foot on the wire coming out from it. I think
you are gilding the lily a bit much here.

But its a free country so keep searching if you like.
