Keith, I just remove my face shield from the head gear and put it in the
sink with hot water and dish soap. Wash both sides and dry with the dish
towel. More stubborn spots like ca glue will respond to acetone.

Before you use acetone, or other chemicals, on plastic materials, test a
small spot on the side or bottom to be sure it doesn't cause the material to
"etch" or fog over. Polycarbonate shouldn't, but not all shields are
polycarbonate.
