Some 4 ft . fluorescents use f32t8 lamps and electronic ballasts,where each
lamp works independently and some use f34t12 lamps with magnetic ballasts
and these the lamps work in tandem and both lamps must be good , often for
either lamp to work. there are also very cheap shop lights sold by places
like Home Depot which use hybrid electronic ballasts. In any event, if the
lamps are good,you're probably better off just scraping the fixtures, rather
than trying to fix them

I have 4 plug in shop lights in my basement.I can only get one bulb in each
to light.I have tried new bulbs and get the same result.They used to work.
3 of them are on the same circuit and one is not....help
