Amen to that. I also like old thinner turtlenecks. They reduce the
shavings down the shirt; have no loose, dangling parts; and are quick
on and off so I can get right to turning. The front is great for
wiping off sandpaper, too.

Tim, I'm not a slave to fashion so I buy long & short sleeve cotton
shirts at a thrift shop for $2, rip off the pockets, wear them only for
turning (yeah, sure) and wash them separately.
I wonder if rubbing the sleeves with soap would prevent muscle cramps as
is claimed for a bar of soap between the sheets.
