Quiet or noisy? For (upstairs cupboard other side of bedroom wall)

Was working beside an Ecomax the other day (don't know which model) and
pleasantly surprised how quiet it was. When delivering hot water it
seemed to cycle on and off rather than modulate to keep the temperature
within a few degrees.
