Alternatively, get a gel-type hand sanitizer. I like Purelle,
since it doesn't seem to leave a crummy-tasting residue on your
hands (which in turn ends up on your food etc) like some of the
other brands. Stay away from the perfumed and funny-coloured
versions. You can get a small bottle that will fit in your
pocket. This stuff (not necessarily the Purelle brand) was
used in hospitals during the SARS scares to minimize transfer
of germs.
