Default 38 pin flex cable (flat conductor)

Panasonic CD portable radio model:RX-ED90PP-K (similar to
models:RX-ED70 & 77,year:May 1996,when power button or some of the
other buttons are pressed the LCD display reads:U1=user code (customer
code) low power when using D cell batteries and pressing power button
which in plain technician language the 5v is not reaching the micro as
the 38 pin flexible cable (flat conductor or jumper film) Panasonic #
REE0825=$8.62 (old # REE0680) from CS801 to CS8011 is broken at
several traces. The reason for this is when the radio was assembled at
the factory the flex cable was bent to a great extreme and with time
several of the traces broke.
I am telling you guys this to save time and money incase you come
across these high end Panasonic units for repair. Also I ordered that
flexible card (flat conductor or jumper film) from my local Panasonic
authorized parts distributor 2 weeks ago and when I called them today
I asked on the status and they say it's backordered and Panasonic
Canada is seeing if the USA has any if not Japan.I assume that other
products by other brands must use a 38 pin flex card of the following
specs:

38 pins (each pin is 1mm wide spaced at 0.5mm for a total width of
cable of 49mm)

230 mm long cable, grey (light blue) colored with the following
writings:E66085 RU AVM 20624 80C 60V VW-1 BANDO-S –F-

Both end of the cable have the pins on the same side.

So if anyone can come up with other OEM part #'s or manufacturer's
websites for this cable your friend Sidney would be greatfull. Thanks
in advance for replies.
