A friend of mine is like that. A year ago I gave her a new microwave as a
house warming present. I was never over there until recently because her
place wasn't wheelchair accessible at the time. I go in to find the
microwave sitting on the counter, still in it's box, never been used. Turns
out she's "microwave phobic", just refuses to irradiate her food with it.
Ok, I take it back and I'm trying to sell it for her.

A week later, we're out to lunch, she takes me to her favourite fast food
shop where they make really decent nachos. She's chowing down on this when I
inform her that they're heated up in a microwave. She thinks about it for a
moment and says, "That's all right, I like their nachos, so it's ok." ???
Go figure!
