I'm thinking of using drywall for the inside walls (and catheral

How about that drywall for use in showers and around baths? Water
doesn't bother it at all.

That's an idea. How long can it withstand being wet? Or will it just
stay intact no matter what?

It's not waterproof, by any means. It's made with water resistant resins
and mildew reistant paper. It won't crumble as fast as regular drywall, but
it won't stand up to being constantly wet either.

For a kid's playhouse, I'd go with painted plywood... it'll stand up to
moisture *and* kids a lot better than drywall.
