Thanks. I expect I'll get myself a satellite receiver and watch free to air
channels via the SCART lead! I'll wait until I get there and make a decision
about what to watch on native broadcasts..

I would think a multi-rate/multi-system TV would be more avaivable in
Switzerland, but I've gleaned this from things I've heard, I have no
actual
knowledge. I just think it's likely.

If you want, research the actual differences between the systems. If you
tell
me that I can give you an informed technical opinion. I don't work on
anything
but NTSC usually.

Anyway, sorry I don't have better answers at this time, but hopefully I
gave
you an idea or two.

After I get out of the NG I might do a bit of research and find something
solid.
